General Description - From this page, you may set your spring training roster. ML players must always be on spring training squads. This page gives the user the opportunity to bring up and send down any Minor League player or release a spring training invitee.

Type - Users may select whether to view All Position Players or Pitchers.

Level - Users may select the level at which to view Minor Leaguers when considering a spring training call-up. Levels from the dropdown menu include Triple-A, Double-A, High-A, Low-A and rookie ball teams.

View - Users may select the type of individual statistics or player ratings to view. Types in the dropdown menu include current spring training statistics, last year's regular season stats, current ratings and status information. After selecting a Type, Level and View, please click 'Go' to see the Minor League players who may be placed on the spring training squad. Once viewed, clicking on any player name will popup his player profile. Clicking on any category will sort players by that category from best to worst in both the Spring Training Squad table and applicable Minor League table.

Spring Training Squad Summary - Pitchers refers to the number of pitchers who are currently listed on the Spring Training Squad. Position Players refers to the number of such players on the Spring Training Squad. Total Players denotes the sum of these two numbers. There is no limit to any franchise's Spring Training roster moves. However, there is a maximum of 70 players who can be on the Spring Training Squad at any time. Please remember that during Spring Training, Edit Lineups and Edit Pitching Staffs pages will only include the players currently assigned to the Spring Training Squad.

Action - All Minor League players will have an action next to their name based on their current status. A Minor League player who has not been assigned to the Spring Training Squad, may be added by clicking 'Add' next to his name on this page. To take a Minor League player off of the Spring Training Squad and send him back to his team, please click 'Remove.' ML players cannot be dropped from the Spring Training Squad. Non-roster invitees will only have one action option and that is to 'Release.' Clicking this action will remove the player from the franchise entirely.
